We have experience with a range of bioplastics including PLA, PBAT, and PHB. These biodegradable compounds offer an alternative to conventional plastics and help prevent microplastics from ending up in the environment. Under specific conditions, biodegradable plastics are broken down by microorganisms into water, carbon dioxide (or methane), and biomass.
Applications of biodegradable compounds
Our biodegradable compounds are suitable for a variety of processing methods, including foaming into packing materials, extrusion, and injection moulding with modified conventional machines. This makes them an ideal solution for a wide range of single use or short-term applications, such as organic waste collection, agriculture and horticulture (for example, mulch films and plant pots), food packaging, and disposable tableware.
