Cast Film Extrusion

Cast film extrusion is a process used to produce high-quality plastic films with excellent thickness consistency and surface finish. During the process, thermoplastic materials such as polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP) are melted and extruded through a flat die. The molten film is immediately cooled on a chill roll, ensuring fast solidification and consistent film properties. The film is then guided through a series of rollers before being wound into rolls for further converting or end-use applications.
